The Asst. Manager Seller Settlement will provide support to the business and finance function with a key focus on improvements of Seller experience. One of the main objectives is to ensure timely settlement of Seller Dues post adjusting of all recoveries and ensure GL reconciliations. This will require regular interaction with Tech, Logistics and Category teams to ensure settlement post all internal checks and validations. To be successful you should possess good understanding of seller operations.
The Job Responsibilities include :
§ Reconciliation of Sources system with finance system and ensuring that finance system is accurately updated.
§ Calculate, post business transactions, process settlement, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
§ Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
§ Maintaining historical records
§ Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
§ Continuing to improve the seller operation process
§ Reconciling payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions
§ General ledger reconciliations
§ Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data
Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting Finance, Master s Degree in Finance preferred.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Seller Management / Retail Inventory Vendor Management related activities in Retail / Ecommerce.
• Experience reconciling accounting figures and financial records
• Ability to identify errors
• Appropriate handling of sensitive information
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Knowledge of accounts payable functions and procedures
• Team player with the ability to work with multiple parties
• The ability to work accurately and independently.
• Experience with accounting software such as SAP and General Ledger and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• An eye for detail along with excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent report preparation skills.
• Strong time and people management skills.
