About Reporting & Analytics

The Reporting & Analytics team is a part of the Growth Operation function and provides data driven decision support to the Leadership, front-line Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Operations teams. We are responsible for accurate reporting of Genpact's sale metrics internally and externally.

As we plan to expand our analytics capabilities, it is imperative to build a team of strong individuals who can support various business stakeholders by providing business intelligence.

As an analyst you would be responsible for reporting sales and related business metrics, providing insights while also improving our existing analytical capabilities and processes.

This role includes contribution in Reporting, Data Insights, Forecasting, Target Setting and other projects.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and understanding different types of data/indicators and using them to track Genpact's sales performance.
• Accurate and timely reporting of Sales and business metrics to key stakeholders.
• Supporting as an analytics partner for various teams, providing business intelligence.
• Active involvement in quarter close activities such as identifying and chasing quick closure of deals, liaising with audit and finance teams, and providing continuous updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Working on materials for Board meetings, Earnings calls and other important events.
• Supporting in target setting and forecasting exercises.
• Observing current data collection and analytics process and capabilities and suggesting/implementing improvements.
• Working on strategic or one-time projects.
• Supporting efforts to improve system data hygiene by working closely with CRM and IT teams.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualification

• Prior experience in reporting of data.
• Excellent understanding of data and how to transform raw data into meaningful metrics and reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
• Strong analytics skills and ability to translate data into clear insights.
• Experience in and inclination towards data visualization.
• Good interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and making sure there are no errors in any reports sent out.

Preferred qualifications

• Graduate/Post in Commerce/Business/Economics/Statistics/Math.
• Working knowledge of PowerBI/Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Knowledge of B2B sales cycle and sales operations.
• Business acumen and understanding of various aspects like bookings, pipeline, revenue etc.
