UniOps Commercial Experience (ComEx) manages a wide variety of Finance and Procurement processes and in doing so protects value and generates fuel for growth for Unilever. This is achieved through excellent execution and continuous improvement of processes with our remit ranging from Financial and Management reporting, Tax and Treasury operations through to Source to Pay operations. We also work with business teams to identify opportunities to extend our remit and drive further value for our Financial stakeholders, Suppliers and Employees. Financial reporting is one such critical finance function covering regulatory compliance , transparency and controls . UniOps (Erstwhile Unilever Enterprise & Technology Solutions (ETS)) is a global business unit that will manage the company\'s shared business services, made up of HR Services, Finance Transactions, IT services, Information Management Services and Workplace Services. Within the service catalogue of UniOps, Commercial Experience organisation is responsible for the management and delivery of finance and supplier services services globally, both through third-party outsourced providers (e.g. IBM, CapGemini) and through in-sourced operations. Within finance service , Record to Report ( RTR ) is on such critical services which ensures proper reporting of financials coupled with compliance on various control requirements.This role is towards such reporting for one particular geography. Main Accountabilities - Delivery of Key KPIstowards - Month end / quarter end / year end close - TB Review / Country Lock Meeting / NFD Reviews -Inter Company settlements / overdue review / follow-up on actions -Balance Sheet Hygiene / A/c recon- review and follow-up on quality of reco by 3PSPs -V@R Review : Follow-up & actions -GPM / GFCF Compliance - review and monitoring -Projects support - IFRS / S4 SCOA / Blackline / Puccinietc. -Service Delivery Review of 3PSP / key deliverables -Close co-ordination with other UniOps CE functions like CSC , PEC , STP interface etc. -Interactions with Corporate Auditors / Statutory Auditors - provide details / clarifications -Any other reporting requirements - new activities ., project co-ordination etc. Key Interfaces - Internal 3PSPs - CapGemini / IBM UniOps CE- OC / PEC MCO - Controllers Team Others -MCO- FET/MR Team, MCO Tax Teams Project Team - Global Team / SMEs / IT / IFRS etc. Key Interfaces - External Auditors - Statutory Auditors - Internal Audit Critical success Factors for the Job Key Skills & Relevant Experience . Accounting knowledge - Has strong accounting knowledge on R2R reporting in Unilever - period close : Month end / Qtr end / Year end - TB Review/CLMs/NFD Reviews etc. Qualified Accountant with business knowledge / understanding . Strong control mindset / understanding of key GFCF / SOX / Internal & external audit requirements, BS hygiene and account reconciliation requirementsVery good accounting knowledge / various reporting requirements understanding . Interpersonal skills- Ability to build collaborative relationship with multiple stakeholders - MCOs , IT , 3PSP , other UniOps Teams like PEC , etc.Knowledge on SAP FI/ good understanding of other interfaces - ifinance . Bias for action - Ensure / drive actions and ensure targeted reporting timelines are met OTIF .Microsoft office skills - Excel / Word / Power Point/ Power BIetc. Leadership Behaviours Should \'meet expectations\' on the Standards of Leadership behaviours relevant to the WL of this job.
