TITLE: Senior Application Engineer - Driveline System (AMT, Transmission and E-axle )
BUSINESS: ZF CVS
REPORTING TO:
Solid : Team leader - Application Engineering DLSC
SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION:
Drive all necessary actions to assure the calibration and validation of Driveline system products like Transmission, Axles, AMT and E-Mobility, according to customer requirements and meeting the regulatory requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for Driveline system calibration, which includes sensors and actuators operated electro-pneumatically for various types of gearboxes and Axles
• Collect technical requirements and specifications from customer and map the same with ZF CVS requirements and highlighting the deviations.
• Provide proposals for ZF CVS products matching the requirements from the customer
• Create Change request and deviations including break down of customer requirements
• Select / calculate product layout for customer application
• Consolidate / prepare application documentation
• System / Application validation and release
• Check component installation / environment, run installation procedure & check system functionality
• Adapt / parameterize system to meet customer / regulatory requirements
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards to homologate the commercial vehicles
• Homologate / support customer in homologation activities according to the regulatory requirements
• Support / respond to technical queries from customer
• Support other internal function groups (Key account teams) on technical queries
• Knowledge on Communication and Diagnostic protocols.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 4-6 yrs of experience in Product Engineering (Function development & vehicle / system calibration) in automotive industry

PROFILE:

• Bachelor degree in Electronics or mechatronics.
• Good knowledge about vehicles, sub systems & operating environment
• Good experience in diagnostics (KWP/UDS/OBD), communication protocol (SAE J1939), instrumentation & Data acquisition systems (Vector)
• Capable of driving CV segments (CV license + qualified test driver)

• Fluent in English

• Calibration & Release of Driveline system.
