Air Liquide India caters to an expanding merchant market network to which it supplies Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen, Helium and Specialty gases, through various supply systems - pipelines, tankers, cylinders, on-site plants or other specialized modes, depending on the product, location, and customer needs.

Missions and Responsibilities

  • To ensure the necessary infrastructure and resources are in place for testing of Medical Oxygen (MLOX) at our facilities.
  • To ensure that all necessary testing is carried out in a quality manner as per guidelines stated in Indian Pharmacopoeia - 2018 / Drugs & Cosmetic Acts / Rule-1940, GMP / Similar / Air Liquide Group Standards and their future amendments.
  • To establish, validate and implement all quality control procedures in line with the requirements defined in point 2
  • To ensure that all the supporting documents and records such as Medical Oxygen (MLOX) testing results, batch preparation, etc. are defined in line with the requirements defined in point 2 and are maintained & treaceble
  • Ensure the compliances for Medical Oxygen (Operation & Product Supply) are in place and sustainable.
  • To timely approve / validate all the supplies of Medical Oxygen (MLOX) from the facilities post the necessary testing by the site Analytical Chemist.
  • Support Facilities to prepare for any Regulatory or Group Authority visit / audit, be visit / audit ready always and take lead for any discrepancy / observations note issued by them and prepare the action plan.
  • To support preparation and approve the specifications of sampling instructions, test methods and other Quality Control procedures.
  • To ensure that Analytical Chemists available at the Facility are trained and qualified for the job and to ensure future training needs identification and to act to close the gap if any.
  • Keep a tab on the revised Regulations and Air Liquide Group Standards related to Medical Oxygen (MLOX) testing & quality control and launch the action to comply with the amendments.

  • Educational Requirements
Graduate - Pharmacy, Science with Chemistry / Graduate in Chemical engineering * Experience Required

5-8 yrs with Relevant Experience and proven track records. * Comprehensive understanding of applicable local regulations (FDA, IP, GMP etc.).
  • Comprehensive understanding and experience in Systems (ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, etc.)
  • Ability to understand and interpret the applicable regulations and their impact on the Air Liquide business / operations.
  • Ability to anticipate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact and liaison with the Regulatory Authorities.
  • Ability to give alarm signals when necessary.
