Job Description


Job Responsibilities

Overall, as a Public Relations Associate in a 5-star hotel, your role would be to promote the hotel\'s image, manage relationships with guests and media, handle crisis situations, support branding and marketing efforts, and ensure effective communication across various channels to maintain and enhance the hotel\'s reputation. The responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Communication and Relationship Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with guests, media, and other stakeholders to promote the hotel\'s image and brand. Responding to guest inquiries, comments, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Media Relations: Managing media inquiries, coordinating media visits, and preparing press releases, media kits, and other communication materials. Facilitating media coverage of the hotel\'s events, promotions, and initiatives, and maintaining a media contact database.
  • Event Management: Planning, organizing, and executing hotel events, such as press conferences, product launches, and media familiarization trips. Coordinating logistics, preparing event materials, and ensuring smooth event operations.
  • Social Media and Online Reputation Management: Managing the hotel\'s social media accounts, creating engaging content, and responding to online reviews and comments. Monitoring and managing the hotel\'s online reputation, and implementing strategies to maintain positive guest feedback and mitigate negative feedback.
  • Crisis Management: Assisting in managing and mitigating crisis situations, such as guest complaints, negative media coverage, or social media incidents. Coordinating with other departments and senior management to develop and implement crisis communication plans.
  • Branding and Marketing: Supporting the hotel\'s branding and marketing efforts by creating and implementing public relations strategies and campaigns that align with the hotel\'s brand positioning and marketing objectives. Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular reports on public relations activities, media coverage, social media analytics, and other relevant metrics. Analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of public relations efforts and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Administrative Tasks: Performing administrative tasks, such as maintaining media archives, monitoring budgets, and coordinating with external vendors and partners.
