Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Merch Hierarchy management, Analytics (Retail) The Merchandise Hierarchy Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization and management of the merchandise hierarchy within retail. This role involves defining, updating, and optimizing the structure of product categories and subcategories to support merchandising strategies. Organizing and managing product categories, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and customer demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations and data management principles. Responsibilities:
Define and maintain the merchandise hierarchy, including main categories, subcategories, and product attributes, to align with business objectives and customer preferences.
Regularly review and update the merchandise hierarchy to reflect changes in product offerings, market trends, and customer behavior.
Assign relevant attributes to each product within the hierarchy, such as brand, size, color, and price, to optimize search and navigation.
Ensure data integrity and consistency within the merchandise hierarchy, maintaining accurate product information, pricing, and availability across all systems and platforms.
Be responsible for maintaining the SLA of each period and the delivery performance
Maintain Product master data as per business input and SOP
Understanding of commercial structures and Category/Product Hierarchies
Highlight and take appropriate help from the Lead on SOP deviations or issues
Raise incident tickets to the relevant helpdesks when there is an issue
Participate in idea generation and improvement activities
Comprehend, explain, and enforce master data creation and change processes.
Good knowledge of governing policies around Product data as per the area of work
Identifies areas for data quality and process improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Proven experience in merchandise hierarchy management or category management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience with data analysis tools and reporting platforms
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and thrive in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
