Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

Supervise daily maintenance operations and assign tasks to the engineering team (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc.). Coordinate the

Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)

schedule for all heavy machinery, kitchen equipment, and guest rooms. Oversee the operation of the Building Management System (BMS), chillers, boilers, and fire safety equipment.

Guest Satisfaction & Room Maintenance:

Ensure guest room maintenance requests (e.g., AC issues, plumbing leaks) are resolved within the stipulated turnaround time (TAT). Conduct regular "walk-throughs" of the property to identify and fix aesthetic or functional defects in public areas and back-of-house.

Energy & Cost Management:

Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, and fuel) and implement energy-saving initiatives. Assist in managing the departmental budget and maintaining an inventory of essential spare parts and tools. Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or renovations.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

Ensure the property complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and fire safety standards. Oversee the maintenance of the fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Conduct safety training for the maintenance team and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Team Leadership:

Manage staff rosters, attendance, and performance reviews for the engineering department. Conduct technical training sessions to keep the team updated on new equipment or safety protocols.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

Experience:

4-6 years of experience in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a hotel or resort environment.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and refrigeration.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
