Assist in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to scheduling interviews and completing new hire paperwork.
Employee relations:
Address employee concerns, help resolve conflicts, and support managers with performance management processes.
HR administration:
Maintain accurate employee records, process documentation, and manage the HR database.
Policy and compliance:
Help implement and monitor HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
Training and development:
Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions and employee development programs.
Payroll and benefits:
Support payroll processing and benefits administration by collecting data on hours, leaves, and other relevant information.
Reporting:
Compile and prepare reports on HR activities, such as staffing, performance, and other personnel data.
Key skills and qualifications
Proven experience in an HR or administrative role, often as an HR Assistant.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with HR software (HRIS/HRMS) and common office software like MS Office.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with labor laws and employment regulations.
