Job Description

The Assistant Manager - Sales supports the Sales Manager in driving room and banquet sales, developing new business, maintaining client relationships, and achieving revenue targets for the hotel. The role involves market research, sales calls, client handling, contracting, and coordination with operations teams to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development



Identify new business opportunities from corporate, travel agents, OTAs, MICE, and social event segments. Conduct daily sales calls, tele-sales, and property visits to generate leads. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients. Assist in preparing yearly and monthly sales forecasts. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.

2. Client Management



Handle inquiries, send proposals, conduct hotel show-rounds, and close bookings. Maintain client database (corporate, FIT, group, and banquet). Ensure excellent pre-event and post-event communication with clients. Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.

3. Revenue & Market Analysis



Assist in negotiating rates, contracts, and corporate tie-ups. Review daily pickup reports and take necessary actions to drive revenue. Track competitor activities, rate changes, promotions, and market trends. Support in preparing sales performance reports and MIS.

4. Coordination & Administration



Coordinate with Front Office, Banquets, Reservations, and F&B for seamless execution of bookings. Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM/IDS/Opera systems. Prepare daily/weekly sales reports for management review. Assist in organizing sales promotions, exhibitions, and corporate events.

5. Guest Satisfaction



Ensure client expectations are met during events and stays. Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather feedback for improvements. Build long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
