About your team

General Counsel (GC) is a trusted advisor to all parts of FIL, providing high-value independent advisory and assurance expertise through our specialist teams. GC comprises of Legal, Risk, Compliance, Tax, and Public Policy & Strategic Relationship Management. General Counsel Shared services (GCSS) function is a global centre of expertise currently being built out in Dalian and India. It provides operational support and services to the General Counsel function.

About your role
This role is within the Group Compliance and Conduct team and reports to Director, GCSS Reporting & Systems. You will be responsible for providing functional admin support for Fidelity\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct system, Star Compliance and will expand as other systems are delegated.

The Functional Administration of the Star Compliance system includes but is not limited to Gifts and Entertainment and Personal Account trading as well as the Quarterly Trade verification and Annual Acknowledgement by all staff. This will involve interaction with some of the operational support teams, regional compliance teams and other General Counsel departments as well as generall staff members across the globe in Fidelity.

About you

• Provide first line BAU support to business users of Star Compliance system which includes Fidelity employees and Code of Ethics and Conduct team.
• Work closely with second line support in technology and vendor teams, to resolve BAU issues.
• Participate in system changes initiated and driven by business and technology teams.
• Work with Star vendor to get the enhancements and changes implemented in the vendor system.
• Participate in requirement analysis and UAT testing phase of the overall change lifecycle.
• Create various documentation on standard operating procedures, system data flows, problem statement explanations, change analysis by maintaining it in team knowledge repository.
• Learn and attain the expert knowledge of Star Compliance system backend working, functional features etc.
• Learn and attain the expert knowledge of business processes, Code of Ethics policies and procedures to be able to provide best in class support to the business teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Data analytics skills - Ability to understand, analyse complex data sets using excel.
• Experience of working with vendor and its system products is preferable.
• Previous exposure to compliance ethics system is preferable.
• Must be a team player, self-motivated, possess good inter-personal communication skills.
