Assistant Manager- Finance and Accounts department
Based in Kolkata (Camac Street).
Working days: 6
Total Years of Experience: 5-8 years
Qualification: CA inter / M Com having at least 5-8 years of experience
Industry: Knowledge of working in a CA/ CS firm
Desired qualities: Strong communication skill (verbal and writing in English), Attention to detail, Punctual, Regular and Methodical.
Good academic record.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Ensuring adherence to all applicable company laws and regulations.
Filing statutory forms and returns with relevant authorities.
Maintaining shareholder records and registers.
Communicating with shareholders on important company updates.
Oversee the issuance of share certificates and manage dividend payments as and when required.
Facilitating shareholder meetings and voting processes.
Ensuring accounts reconciliation, knowledge of GST and TDS.
Maintaining statutory company documents, registers and records.
Managing company registers and minute books.
Reviewing and drafting legal contracts and agreements.
Managing company secretarial department and assisting company secretary as and when required.
Overseeing corporate actions like stock splits or dividends.
Handling regulatory compliance related to capital markets.
Participating in due diligence processes in addition to Costing part of the Company.
