Job Description


:1.Financial Accounting and Reporting:

  • Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with Indian accounting standards
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the quarterly limited review and annual audit process
2. Taxation and Government Assistance:
  • Prepare and file direct and indirect tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their implications to the finance team.
  • Conduct tax planning and analysis to optimize the organization\'s tax position.
  • Assist in tax audits and address any queries or issues raised by tax authorities.
  • Preparing and filing necessary documents to avail financial assistance from state and central government under applicable schedules
3. Internal Control and Audit:
  • Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and review internal control documentation and recommend enhancements as necessary.
  • Assist in the resolution of audit findings and implement corrective actions.
4.Accounts Receivable and Payable:
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Monitor and manage the organization\'s cash flow, including cash forecasting and liquidity management.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Conduct periodic aging analysis and initiate appropriate actions for overdue accounts.
5. Banking:
  • Manage the organization\'s banking relationships and ensure effective utilization of banking services.
  • Monitor cash balances and initiate fund transfers as required.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the administration of credit facilities, Bank Guarantees, L/Cs including loan documentation and compliance.
