As an Assistant Manager - Food Beverage Controller at Hunger Inc Hospitality , you will enable control over the Food and Beverage (FB) cost at all our restaurants. Y ou will work closely with the Stores, Purchase Managers, Chefs, and General Managers to ensure that the operational cost of the restaurant is within our target. You will gather data from our Material Management System and perform data analysis to enable this control. Your role is essential for managing and controlling the financial budgets of our restaurant s food and beverage operations. This role will report to the Founders Office Finance Strategy and will work out of our head office in Lal Baug, with travel to our outlets as required Responsibilities: Monitor and control food and beverage costs to ensure they align with budgeted figures. Implement cost saving measures without compromising the quality of products and services Perform surprise audits at the outlets and report on inventory variance. Prepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts for the food and beverage department Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms Keep a close eye on complimentary items void items on the Point of Sales system and analyze its impact on the restaurant costs. Establish inventory control procedures to minimize waste and spoilage Generate financial reports including profit and loss statements and variance analysis to share insights with the senior management Train and educate staff on cost control measures and procedures Requirements Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 4-5 years experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Expert in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Knowledge of food and beverage cost control techniques Excellent communication and negotiation skills
