Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the companywide phishing programme involving several security awareness and training initiatives to develop, sustain and engage security culture across the business.
  • Support and Manage Business Engagement - acting as a front door for the Security department, working with the business to support consumption of security services and overseeing the services to ensure they are operating in an effective, efficient and resilient manner.
  • Oversee the logistics and operations for a number of information security and privacy training programs, whilst supporting the team to ensure the training runs smoothly from start to finish.
  • Answer general queries regarding the Information Security and Privacy Learning and Development agenda via phone, email and face to face.
  • Monitoring completion rates for all information security and privacy e-learning modules.
  • Collaborate with trainers to analyse the effectiveness of the session, and proactively offer suggestions for improvements, through participation.
  • Oversee the operations for a number of external information security and privacy training programs.
  • Coordinate support for creation of e-content that will be hosted on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Manage Business Engagement under the Security front door initiative, known as "Engage Security." This includes ensuring efficient coordination of security and privacy support and further also serving as a point of contact for audits and control template updates.
  • Communicating effectively and building relationships with key stakeholders for effective security and privacy awareness.
  • Support maintenance of the relevant pages of the team\'s intranet content, ensuring that all of the information is kept up to date, relevant and adds value.
  • Provide proof reading and editorial support for all written material.
  • Undertake general administrative tasks such as minute taking at team and project meetings and supporting the wider awareness team where needed.
Knowledge:
  • Understanding of at least one of the key information security area like: IT / information security / risk / privacy/ management / audit / assurance / business continuity / supplier management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint (this role includes extensive work using Excel).
Skills:
  • Provide support and guidance to any business led initiatives.
  • Demonstrated proficient project management skills in executing security-related initiatives.
  • Good facilitation, communication, negotiation and presentational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels in the business.
  • Ability to understand organisational culture and use this knowledge to gain commitment and get work done.
  • Ability to provide support to and accept direction from colleagues in other areas.
  • Remain effective in situations when responsibilities, tasks, priorities and / or work environment change significantly.
  • Allocate high priority to customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Be clear, concise and impactful when communicating with others.
  • Ability to assess multiple options (including consequences) in parallel, while working on possible solutions.
  • Exceptional calendar management skills
Experience:
  • 4yrs+ experience in Enterprise Security and Technology, HR learning management systems (LMS), PA/EA responsibilities or corporate communications would be an advantage.
  • Experienced in working with UK stakeholders.
  • An understanding of key information security risks posed
Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate in any discipline (A Levels or equivalent qualification).
