Role and Responsibilities Analysis and design of RCC / Steel structures and their foundations - Manually and using STAAD Pro. Preparation of sketches for the detailed drawings. Ensuring adherence of civil & structural drawings to relevant codes and standards and customers\' requirements. Monitoring drafting of the drawings on AutoCAD and to ensure timely delivery of quality drawings to customer-s satisfaction. Checking of the drawings. Maintain all calculations/records as per ISO norms. Assisting structural maintenance team in retrofitting and strengthening of existing structures, whenever required. Project Management activities pertaining to Civil/Structural part of the projects. Preferred Skills Strong managerial, Analytical & planning skills Excellent Interpersonal skill Good planning skill Good command over STAAD and AUTO CAD Core technical competencies required for the role Qualifications and Education Requirements : BE - Civil, Post - Graduation in structural Engineering will be an added advantage. Minimum experience : A candidate should have 3 plus years of experience as a civil/structural engineer in a reputed design office. This experience in design and detailing shall cover various types of residential buildings and Industrial structures including Plant buildings, technological structures, utility buildings, substations, foundations for static equipment and rotary equipment like heavy duty Pumps, Compressors, and Fans, etc., Pipe-racks, Conveyor bridges and trestles, Steel and RCC tanks (UG/AG), Design of Sumps / canals for sea water applications and cooling tower basins, roads/drains etc., preferably in a Chemical / Petrochemical/ Refinery/ Pharmaceutical plants. Sound knowledge of different types of foundations, dynamic analysis of structures and foundations and all relevant codes of practice is a must. Ability to work with STAAD Pro is essential. Knowledge of international codes and exposure to project management activities would be an added advantage.
