Assistant Health, Safety & Environment Manager
Work Dynamics
What this job involves:
To lead implementation of EH&S initiatives in the site.
Drive the EH&S compliance programme in the managed facility.
Ensure Client and JLL EHS requirements are full implemented and complied with.
Conduct Risk assessment and put controls
Incident management
Train Vendors and the site team in implementing EHS requirements
Guide operations teams and clients on any changed legislative requirements to enable them to plan for continued legal compliance.
Develop and implement process for tracking regulatory compliances across managed locations.
Coordinate with Facility Manger, Corporate EHS manager, ensure implementation of EHS programmes.
Annual Compliance signoff
Sound like you? To apply you need to be:
BE / B.Sc. with experience in EH&S management
Implementation knowledge on ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
Diploma in H&S
Understanding of waste management, sewage treatment and water treatment plant operations
Good understanding of EH&S related regulations.
Good experience in development, implement and maintaining EH&S management and audit with leading MNC / Consulting firms.
Good written and spoken communication skills
Good coordination skills
Ability to multi-task and efficiently track implementation at remote locations through identified SPOC's
Program management skills
Able to work with multiple teams
Set examples for other Managers.
Monitors personal performance measures and achieves results.
Makes appropriate decisions and demonstrates sound judgment
Actively pursues improvement opportunities and implements them
Conducts open, constructive and collaborative relations with the Clients, Jones Lang LaSalle personnel and relevant stakeholders
Gains respect of the Client and Jones Lang LaSalle personnel.
Possesses effective written and oral communication skills.
Listens effectively and communicates through actions and example.
