Job Description

An Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper in managing hotel housekeeping operations, supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring efficient laundry and inventory management to uphold guest satisfaction and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include staff training, conducting inspections, managing cleaning supplies, and assisting with departmental budgeting and reporting. Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Training:

Oversee housekeeping staff, including room attendants and cleaners, and conduct training to ensure high service standards and professional development.

Quality Control:

Perform regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to hotel standards.

Inventory Management:

Monitor, control, and order cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and good working condition.

Operations & Coordination:

Assist in managing daily housekeeping tasks, coordinate with other departments, and handle guest complaints or special requests to ensure seamless operations.

Safety & Compliance:

Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures to create a safe environment for guests and staff.

Staff Scheduling:

Prepare staff schedules, assign duties, and fill in for absent team members as needed.

Budgeting & Reporting:

Support the Executive Housekeeper with budgeting, cost control, and the preparation of reports for management.

Laundry & Maintenance:

Oversee laundry operations and ensure preventative maintenance is performed in all areas of the department.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards. Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, health and safety protocols, and inventory management. Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Flexibility in work schedule and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. A degree in Hotel Management is often preferred for this role.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
