Role Summary : This position is responsible for designing the documents like control panel wirings, Layout, and also some of the primary instrumentation documents like P&IDs, JB Wiring diagrams, layouts, etc., and other project-related documents for various Flowserve Projects as per contract against specific customer orders. The individual is required to coordinate with Design engineers to ensure overall quality and on\xe2\x80\x90time delivery of customer submittals. Responsibilities & Requirements :

• Performs work that is varied and complex, under direct supervision. Consistently applies knowledge of functional concepts and prior experience to work assignments.
• Gather all relevant information for each assignment, review all the inputs, understand scope of work, and complete the assigned task by meeting or exceeding customer expectation.
• Timely update status to all the stake holders.
• Follow established engineering standards and procedures for product design to produce consistent and reliable results.
• Check each design for compliance to job specifications; design form, fit, and function; safety in assembly, maintenance, and operation; method and ease of manufacture; method and ease of assembly. Perform self-checking.
• Deliver clear and complete drawings/analysis reports/ documentation/part list, as per the deliverables of the assignment, ensuring On-time delivery and quality.
• Understand the basic functions of documentation control, document preservation and computer filing
• Maintain and develop technical and other interpersonal skills, always in full compliance with company policies, using the resources productively and innovatively.

Preferred Experience / Skills :

• Excellent ability to read and understand engineering drawings/documents.
• To understand and revise various control panel documents like wirings, Layouts, and involved in the selection of control panel components using Eplan, and other Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of creating the project documents like instrument lists, I/O lists, etc. using Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of ISA & IEC standards, Instrumentation - Electrical Datasheets would be an added advantage.
• To Understand and be able to read the project documents and support the Engineers in the team to update electrical and instrumentation documents related to various projects.
• Knowledgeable in solid works and creation of a Bill of materials (BOM) in Windchill / SAP related to Instrumentation and Electrical would be preferred.
• Good knowledge of field instruments, Utility, and electricals, PLC-design documents such as system architecture Electrical/Control Schematics, and Panel Layout Diagrams with installation knowledge would be added advantage.
• Perform design and develop documents like Power Schematics, Control Schematics, Industrial control /power Panel Design, GA drawing, and Panel Layout and Selection of appropriate hardware required for the project.
• Good knowledge of various PLCs, VFD, and Intelligent starters.
• Exposure to North American & European Standards such as UL, NFPA, CSA, and ANSI schematics related to electrical and Instrumentation design would be preferred.
• To Understand and be able to read the project documents and support the Engineers in the team to update electrical and instrumentation documents related to various projects.

Qualification & Experience :

• Graduate with min 1\xe2\x80\x902 years of experience or Diploma with min 2\xe2\x80\x904 years of experience in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Equivalent with knowledge of Electrical/Instrumentation engineering preferably from the pump / rotary equipment Industry
