You will join our Transport Domestic department.

As our new Design Engineer, you will be part of Transport Domestic Business. Office is based at Mumbai. Transport business unit is working on major infrastructure projects involving detailed design as well as proof checking. You will get the chance to work on iconic projects associated with Ramboll.\xe2\x80\x8bDesign Engineer shall co-ordinate with the Project Manager and Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings.

Key Job Areas

As a member of the Structures team, you will be responsible for carrying out the analysis and design, performing quality check of the design drawings produced by CAD technicians maintaining the quality of deliverables.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:

• BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institution of repute. ME/ M. Tech in structural engineering would be desirable.
• Should have at least 2+ years of experience in design of bridges. Knowledge of design codes like IRC Codes/IS/Eurocodes/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable,
• Knowledge of understanding of the basic analysis and design principles of bridges, design experience on precast superstructure including segmental construction is an added advantage.
• Should possess hands on skills on any of the analysis software such as Sofistik, MIDAS, LUSAS, STAAD Pro. Basic understanding of Auto CAD is desirable.
• In addition to technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills and should be able to present their work.
• Should be a good team member and able to coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project.
• Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
