Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Cooking & Menu Planning



Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as required. Create customized weekly menus based on dietary needs and preferences. Prepare a wide variety of cuisines--continental, Asian, Indian, Mediterranean, etc. Ensure meals are nutritious, fresh, and well-presented.

2. Ingredient Sourcing & Inventory



Shop for high-quality ingredients; maintain proper stock levels. Build relationships with vendors for fresh produce, meat, and specialty supplies. Manage kitchen inventory, storage, and labeling to maintain freshness.

3. Kitchen Hygiene & Maintenance



Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times. Sanitize utensils, cooking surfaces, and equipment regularly. Report repair or maintenance needs for kitchen appliances.

4. Dietary & Health Requirements



Prepare meals specific to dietary plans (low-fat, low-salt, diabetic-friendly, keto, vegan, etc.). Manage allergies and ensure safe food preparation. Provide balanced, health-based meal options.

5. Event & Guest Meal Preparation



Prepare meals for small gatherings, parties, or special occasions. Coordinate with household staff during events. Deliver high-end plating and food presentation.

6. Administrative Tasks



Maintain meal plans, grocery lists, and monthly budgets. Track expenses and submit receipts. Plan ahead for special menus and travel requirements.

Skills & Qualifications



Proven experience as a Private/Personal Chef or in 4/5-star hotels or fine-dining restaurants. Strong knowledge of multiple cuisines and advanced cooking techniques. Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple meal schedules. Knowledge of nutrition and healthy meal planning. High level of confidentiality and professionalism. Culinary degree or professional training (preferred).
