Project: This is a mixed use development which includes an store, shopping center and offices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing site data and its entry and different trackers implemented on the project
  • Handling payment certification of contractors, consultants, and other agencies involved on the project.
  • Updating monthly reports, cash flow preparation.
  • Assisting the commercial, resource management, and financial management functions.
  • Participating in the performance of all operations from a commercial and finance perspective.
  • Assisting in the implementation of and adherence to the commercial management plan, subcontract management plant and project risk management plan.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in relation to legal, financial and administration matters - the standard of internal control and policies.
  • Monitoring financial performance, financial analysis (including trend analysis) and preparing project performance reports and recommendations for the executive team.
  • Monitoring, reviewing and keeping relevant parties informed on the timeliness, cost, revenue, risk, progress and performance of the project.
  • Liaising with the construction team to ensure commercial processes and operations are as effective, efficient and transparent as possible.
  • Overseeing the procurement and commercial structure/framework for the project.
  • Developing and monitoring the subcontractor and supply agreement process.
  • Evaluating business improvement opportunities and making recommendations to reduce costs, increase productivity, improve economic value added and increase earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in relation to legal, financial and administration matters - the standard of internal control and policies.
  • Setting direction and providing clear and timely feedback to direct reports on their performance.
About you You have a degree qualification or diploma in civil engineering and a member of a professional body. You have knowledge of contracts and procedure. You have a broad knowledge of cost planning and construction project controls principles and practices. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have experience delivering projects from start to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and our ambitious people alike. You have previous working experience on construction projects and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
