Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Agriculture officer located in Periyapatna. The Assistant Agriculture Director will be responsible for supporting the farmers with all agriculture-related operations, including crop production, farming activities, and farm management. The Assistant Agriculture officer will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to farmers, ensuring proper irrigation, monitoring weather conditions, and maintaining records of expenses and profits. Qualifications Extensive knowledge of agriculture, crop production, and farming activities Experience in farm management and supervision of smallholder farmers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as a team player Strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of sustainable agriculture and soil conservation practices Bachelor\'s degree in agriculture or related field Experience with organic farming methods and techniques is a plus
