Asset Management India Client & Product teams covers functions that spans across the entire lifecycle of a client. Starting with Sales & Marketing, the group includes functions like Sales support, Product Strategy, Market Insight, Data Management & Governance, Data Delivery & Solutions and Business Intelligence & Analytics. The Product teams, comprising of Research analysts, Investment Specialists (IS) and Portfolio Management & Risk teams are responsible for providing additional insights to our securities coverage universe, strategy design, commercializing and monetizing our strategies. The Client Service group caters to functions like RFP, Onboarding, KYC, Client Reporting and Fund level Governance oversight functions involving Product administration, Board management, Funds registration, TA Service Delivery, Product implementation and vendor management services.

The current opening is within Global Liquidity Credit Risk & Administration (GLCR) Team in Mumbai which forms part of the Global Liquidity (GL) group within AM India Client and Product.

Global Liquidity (GL)

The Global Liquidity (GL) team comprise approximately 140 investment professionals, operating in every major market around the world. The team oversees a broad range of money market fund and managed reserves / ultra-short duration strategies. With approximately USD 911 Billion in short-term AUM, as of December 31, 2021, and over four decades of experience managing customised liquidity and short duration strategies for some of the largest institutions in the world, we combine our world-class proprietary research with exceptional liquidity and risk management to seek results across all market cycles.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience working in Investment Research & Analytics Reporting, as part of the investment management industry. The individual should have strong macro and fundamental research skills, a keen interest in financial markets, and the enthusiasm to drive their own book of work. Individual in Mumbai Team would contribute to the Portfolio Management and Governance process by creating, managing, and analyzing a broad array of data and analytics using primarily Python or other suitable advanced tools. The ideal candidate should have a healthy mix of technical & functional skills and the strategic vision to help evolve our analytical tools and models.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide day-to-day support to Portfolio Managers, including data aggregation and analytics, , and reporting.
• Technical & fundamental analysis across a range of investable securities.
• Support development & maintenance of proprietary systems, data and analytical tools for portfolio construction and risk management.
• Contribute in enhancements of existing tools and identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics, and models across investment teams.
• Strong Focus on Automation & making the processes efficient.
• Work on adhoc requests from stakeholders & Portfolio Managers.
• Assume end-to-end responsibility for various projects and reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• MBA or CA with 1 to 3 years of experience in Investment Management Industry supporting Portfolio management, or Financial modelling activities..
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income is must.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with focus on statistical analysis, financial modelling or other investment related analysis (including data analysis and ability to understand data flows).
• Strong programming experience in Python is must and ability to create dashboards in Tableau.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) ; VBA coding will be an added advantage.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities and time effectively.
• Self-starter and ability to work both independently and as a team player.

Education:

• MBA/CA and candidate who have completed CFA Level or FRM would be preferred

Shift Timing: EMEA (1.30pm to 10.30pm)
