The Client Service group caters to functions like RFP, Onboarding, KYC, Client Reporting and Fund level Governance oversight functions involving Product administration, Board management, Funds registration, TA Service Delivery, Product implementation and vendor management services. The current opening is within Global Liquidity team in Mumbai which forms part of the Client Services group within AM India Client and Product. Global Liquidity Client Service

  • Responsible for delivering liquidity and short-term investment options to Corporate and FI clients.

About the Role

The Client Service Associate (\\"CSA\\") is responsible for delivering exceptional client service to Global Liquidity Client Service team. As the point of contact for daily servicing needs of our clients, CSAs develop an understanding of the unique requirements of Global Liquidity franchise and champion those requirements within the context of the larger firm. CSAs partner with colleagues in Global Liquidity Service team especially the Client Account Managers (CAMs).

Responsibilities Include:
  • Act as day-to-day client service contact for assigned group of CAMs
  • Interact regularly with clients to provide operational support and enhanced solutions
  • Improve business processes and client experience
  • Prepare Client reviews
  • Prepare rebate documentation & operational setup (Trailer Fee)
  • Distribution agreement & Platform agreement negotiation with CRM
  • Late settlement: handle client communication & assistance
  • Lead the interest claim conversation until resolution
  • Liaise with the clients & auditors to carry out audit requests
  • Coordinate the 1099 reporting with the clients & the tax team


  • Managing Bank Queries and Interest Claim related activities
  • Perform all required client service functions including:
    • Onboarding new clients / funds in AM systems
    • Maintenance of client records
    • Compliance with all internal procedures
    • Verify eligibility of clients for participation in fund vehicles
    • Communicate significant client issues internally and document/escalate as appropriate
    • Actively participate in client service and regional team meetings
  • Work with global CAM teams to support our clients\' needs
  • Participate in CAM business and regulatory driven projects and initiatives
  • Creating and publishing Client reports on defined business days
Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience at an asset management firm; background in client service with liquidity products is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Able to learn new technology tools and automate various manual tasks and create efficiencies
  • Degree level education preferred
  • Client focused and able to gain an in-depth understanding of clients\' servicing needs
  • Highly accurate with good attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and to pursue/meet deadlines
  • Proactive/self-starter
  • Flexible/ability to adapt to change
  • Adaptable to a fast changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize a variety of responsibilities and ad-hoc requests in a moderate to fast-paced environment; ability to learn and execute new tasks quickly and in real-time
