As a controller professional in our Alternatives Financial Controllers team you will be working with an established team and support a large institutional High Yield Portfolio. With your knowledge of Fixed Income Products, you will be able to create investment strategies that will benefit our clients and the Asset Management business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monthly review of NAV package, analysis, valuation review and calculate fund performance like IRR and total returns
• Review of Fund financial statements and NAV pricing along with coordination for fund audit, tax filings, valuation, and board meeting
• Handle internal management reporting , client reporting and board materials
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts like investment valuation, derivatives, loan loss reserves, debt valuation, hedge accounting, book value accounting
• Review and facilitate funding requests
• Work with fund administration to resolve cash and position breaks and coordinate capital calls
• Other financial procedures and ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Qualified CA /MBA with experience of 10 years in Fund accounting or Fund reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting policies and concepts.
• Understanding of Real Estate Business and experience in review of Financial Statements and variance analysis.
• Good analytical skills, eye for number, Strong accounting knowledge and Detail oriented
• Good communication skills, both written and oral and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to work in pressure situations and prioritize key tasks effectively.
• Project management, ability to manage and organize resources, conduct effective presentations, facilitate meetings and gain consensus around issues.
