Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Graduation Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Inventory Management or related field.
Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in store/inventory management in a rolling mill or steel manufacturing unit.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in ERP software, Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting tools.
A Senior Store Incharge is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and ensuring efficient workflow. They also handle customer service, maintain store standards, and contribute to achieving sales targets. Essentially, they are the leaders of the store, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Supervising, training, and evaluating store staff, potentially including scheduling and performance management.
Inventory Management:
Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
Customer Service:
Handling customer inquiries and complaints, and potentially implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
Operational Efficiency:
Ensuring smooth daily operations, including implementing and maintaining store policies and procedures.
Sales and Performance:
Monitoring sales performance and contributing to strategies to achieve sales targets.
Store Standards:
Maintaining store appearance, ensuring safety and security, and potentially implementing visual merchandising strategies.
Reporting:
Preparing regular reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
Vendor Relations:
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
