Job Title: Ass. Process Engineer Location Rajpura , India Main Job Purpose: (A concise statement setting out the main purpose and objectives of the job.) Responsible for Manufacturing Excellence & Process Engineering for Food Plant and part of Factory Leadership Team Key Accountabilities: She/he will apply extensively the full range of Focused and Quality Improvement methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Customer Service and Logistics Responsible to drive site digital agenda. Responsible to review and implement factory Master plan projects. Working directly with the line crews daily, She/he also acts as the technical trainer for line teams and provides coaching in phenomena identification, root cause analysis and the establishment of countermeasures. Responsible for the validation of all process improvements and the establishment of revised basic conditions on the line A core deliverable is to eliminate losses and wastes and increase the stability of the line to support the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams. Taking responsibility for building team\'s performance and sharing best interventions to help support other lines in their improvements Leverage technical knowledge and a systems approach to ensure factory lines and processes are optimally resourced (e.g. manpower ratios are efficient and sustainable). Able to Apply the full set of WCM /UMS methods and tools to identify root causes, define countermeasures and validate their effectiveness, mastery of AM, PM, Q and FI tools and processes. Building world class factories to eliminate losses and ensure that do not pass on the cost of inefficiencies to customers and consumers. Take up lead in driving changes as innovation, Saving projects of the unit Support FOW to Develop long term skill building plan and execute the same in line with business requirements playing an active role in evaluation and training for Skill/Will development Drive Projects on Automation, BCT Reduction & Asset light Improvement which involves estimation of capex, technical finalization, and selection of suitable vendor, procurement, commissioning, and vertical ramp up for delivery. Professional Skills: ESSENTIAL University Degree / Engineering Degree PREFERRED Experience in statistics and process control tools. Experience in AM, PM, Quality and FI tools and processes. Confident in applying problem solving tools (5W1H, 4M, 5WHY etc.) Power BI/Power App Skill Competencies: Accountability and Responsibility Team Alignment Growth Mindset Bias for Action Experience Required: ESSENTIAL 10-15 yrs experience in Make Travel: Minimal
