About the role

Data Scientists would be involved in identifying complex fuzzy problems, breaking them down into smaller parts and implementing creative, data-driven solutions. You would be responsible for defining, tracking and improving key metrics and communicating business trends to stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Translate structured and unstructured problems into analytical frameworks

- Perform statistical tests to establish trends, patterns, seasonality. Use data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to develop models.

- Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward- looking opportunities.

- Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to provide advanced analytical solutions to key business problems such as product pricing, business growth and customer acquisition etc.

- Propose/build advancements to analytical solutions/models for consistently improving their performance and realigning them with changing trends in product usage. Take models to production and monitor them to ensure the promised offline performance.

- Work closely with the tech and product team in developing strategies for the new product launch.

- Collaborate with the business/product teams (product, tech, compliance, business, categories) to enable data driven decision making.

- Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends

Experiment with alternate analytical techniques to solve problems. Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis

Requirements

- Engineering / MBA with 4+ Years of experience in Analytics or Data Sciences roles.

- Strong experience in SQL, scripting languages (R/ Python) and machine-learning algorithms. Experience in statistical modeling.

Good to have : Working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc)
