As an Art Manager at PTW, you will oversee and lead a team of artists and designers, ensuring the successful execution of art projects and maintaining the artistic vision of our games. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing schedules and budgets, and fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities: * Team Leadership: Manage a team of artists and designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

• Project Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality art assets. Coordinate with other departments, such as game design and engineering, to ensure smooth production workflows.
• Artistic Vision: Maintain and communicate the artistic vision of the game to the art team, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the development process.
• Quality Assurance: Review art assets to ensure they meet the established quality standards and align with the game\'s artistic direction. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to artists to help them improve their work.
• Resource Management: Manage art production resources, including budgeting, outsourcing, and scheduling. Collaborate with external vendors or contractors when necessary.
• Talent Acquisition: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new artists and designers. Identify and attract top industry talent to build a high-performing art team.
• Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in game art and ensure the team is utilizing industry best practices and tools.
• Documentation and Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels within the art team and across other departments. Document art production processes, pipelines, and guidelines for future reference.

Requirements * Bachelor\'s degree in fine arts, Game Design, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

• Proven experience in a leadership role in the gaming industry, with a focus on art production.
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals, including composition, color theory, and lighting.
• Proficient in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and 3D modeling tools (Maya, 3ds Max).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for gaming and a deep appreciation for art in games.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of art styles and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.

• Familiarity with 2D and 3D animation techniques.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
