Area Sales Manager ASM - PHARMA 1. Sales Strategy Development: Developing comprehensive sales strategies for the assigned area, aligning with overall company objectives and market trends. 2. Team Management and Leadership: Hiring, training, and managing a team of Business Development Officers (BDOs) to ensure optimal performance and achievement of sales targets. 3. Territory Expansion and New Market Penetration: Identifying and assessing opportunities for expanding into new geographical areas. This includes launching sales operations in new areas, setting up distribution networks, and establishing partnerships with key stakeholders. 4. Sales Growth: Setting ambitious yet achievable sales targets for the area and implementing strategies to drive sales growth. This involves closely monitoring sales performance, analyzing data, and making necessary adjustments to tactics and strategies. 5. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conducting thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Utilizing this information to refine sales strategies and gain a competitive edge in the market. 6. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and distributors. This includes regular engagement, addressing customer queries, and resolving any issues promptly 7. Product Launches and Promotions: Planning and executing product launch activities in the assigned area, including promotional campaigns, medical conferences, and educational events. Collaborating with marketing teams to ensure effective communication of product features and benefits. 8. Budget Management: Developing and managing budgets for sales activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. 9. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring that all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, including promotional guidelines and ethical practices. 10. Performance Evaluation and Reporting: Regularly assessing the performance of the sales team against KPIs and targets. Providing constructive feedback, coaching, and support to help team members improve their performance. Generating comprehensive reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis for management review. 11. Customer Feedback and Satisfaction: Soliciting feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Implementing initiatives to address customer needs and concerns effectively. 12. Continuous Learning and Development: Staying updated with industry developments, market trends, and new technologies relevant to pharmaceutical sales. Providing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge. 13. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, supply chain, and regulatory affairs to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of activities across the organization. 14. Adapting to Changes: Being adaptable to changes in the market landscape, regulatory environment, and company priorities. Proactively adjusting strategies and tactics to navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: 250,000.00 - 450,000.00 per year Schedule:
