Job Summary: The Area Sales Officer for Beverages Products is responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets within a specified geographical area. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts, as well as implementing effective sales strategies. The Area Sales Officer will also be tasked with market analysis, competitor research, and providing regular reports on sales performance. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned area. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis. Distributor and Retailer Management: Recruit, train, and manage distributors within the assigned area. Work closely with distributors to ensure proper inventory levels and distribution of products. Conduct regular visits to retailers to monitor product placement and address any issues. Promotional Activities: Plan and execute promotional activities to increase brand visibility and drive sales. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement effective marketing campaigns. Monitor the success of promotional activities and provide feedback for future initiatives. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities. Provide timely and accurate information to the management team. Budget Management: Manage and adhere to the assigned budget for the area. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in sales operations. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the beverages industry. Strong understanding of the local market and consumer behavior. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in MS Office applications.
