Area Sales Manager - SpineLocation: DelhiMandatory Requirement:Must have experience selling high-value medical equipment (- 50+ Lakhs) in Spine / Neuro domain.Role Overview:The Area Sales Manager - Spine will act as a regional business owner, driving revenue growth, market development, and long-cycle closures for high-value capital equipment solutions in the spine segment. This is a senior, consultative sales role requiring strong spine domain expertise and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles while enabling clinical adoption.Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university- Background in Biomedical, Life Sciences, Engineering, or Management preferredExperience:- 6-12 years of experience in Spine or Orthopaedic medical devices- 3-5 years of experience in capital equipment / navigation systems / robotics / imaging or complex solution selling- Exposure to implant + capital equipment environments is a strong advantage- Proven success in surgeon-led and institutional sales modelsKey Skills & Competencies- Consultative / solution selling of high-value capital equipment- Strong understanding of spine surgical workflows and clinical adoption- Multi-stakeholder selling (surgeons, hospital management, procurement, biomedical teams)- Key account management and KOL relationship building- Clinical and technical sales capability- Market development and adoption of new technologies- Negotiation, pricing, and contract management- Distributor / channel management with performance accountability- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive engagement skillsRoles & Responsibilities- Own and drive regional business performance for spine navigation solutions- Build and manage strong sales pipeline and long-cycle deal closures- Develop and expand market presence and technology adoption- Build long-term relationships with spine surgeons, KOLs, hospital leadership, and procurement teams- Lead consultative sales engagements across clinical and non-clinical stakeholders- Coach and enable distributors and internal teams to improve performance- Support clinical demos, installations, and key surgical cases- Represent the organization at conferences, CMEs, and clinical forums- Maintain CRM updates, reporting accuracy, and compliance with internal policies (ref:updazz.com)
