As an Area Sales Manager, Pro Care business, Automotive Aftermarket Division you will have the opportunity to work with Channel Partners as well as Auto OEM Dealerships both 4 wheel and 2 wheel segments. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Meeting sales and collection objective for the assigned territory
  • Implement and execute on business priorities.
  • Manage existing Channel Partners and appoint new in areas we are not represented
  • Make mutual business plan with channel partners and provide support as well as drive execution to meet the plan.
  • Sales calls to Auto OEM Dealerships with pre determined objectives like
  • Winning competition accounts by preparing relevant business case along with Channel.
  • Engage OEM Dealerships & OEM sales / service reps, using consultative approach to make business plan along with Channel with objective to ensure secondary business growth
  • Initiate and run campaigns to promote business at Dealerships like NPI
  • Training programs for service advisor, distributors, supervisors at OEM Dealerships
  • Train channel partners and channel team to win new OEM Dealership business as well as improve penetration in existing
  • Prepare and conduct presentations/product demos at distributor partner and at Auto OEM Dealerships (business reviews, product trainings, etc.).
  • Daily account management using Salesforce.com.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • PGDBM/MBA (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • 7 to 9 years of field sales experience in sales profile handling key accounts and B2B selling
  • Understanding of business financials to develop business case as well as working out ROI for Channel and Dealerships
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Experience in Automotive Aftermarket Industry is preferable relevant Industry could be Paints, Oil, Tyre, Battery, Industrial Tools, Auto equipment, and telecom
  • Key account management experience working with multi location customers.
  • Experience calling on and managing corner office executive level relationships along with technicians.
  • Presentation skills, CRM (Salesforce.com), written and verbal communication, business planning and negotiation skills, sales, techno-commercial acumen and competitive testing.

Location: Delhi NCR
Sales Territory: Delhi NCR and part of Haryana
Travel: Primarily local travel at this point of time 20% to 30% outstation travel will start at later point of time
