Job Title: Area Sales Manager - LED Channel SalesJob Summary:The Area Sales Manager (ASM) - LED Channel Sales is responsible for driving sales, expanding channel presence, and managing distributor/retailer relationships within the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing channel partners, monitoring market trends, and ensuring strong business growth for LED lighting products.Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Growth- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for LED product categories.- Drive secondary and tertiary sales through channel partners.- Expand market share within the assigned geography.2. Channel Development & Management- Identify, onboard, and manage LED distributors, dealers, and retailers.- Strengthen relationships with channel partners through regular visits, support, and performance reviews.- Ensure adequate stock levels and product visibility across outlets.- Conduct dealer meets, product training, and promotional activities.3. Market Expansion & Business Strategy- Identify new business opportunities and unexplored markets for LED products.- Execute channel expansion strategies to increase coverage in electrical trade, modern retail, and project-based channels.- Coordinate with marketing teams to roll out territory-specific campaigns.4. Team Management (if applicable)- Manage a team of Sales Executives / Sales Officers.- Set targets, provide sales coaching, and monitor daily/weekly performance.5. Market Intelligence & Reporting- Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.- Gather customer and dealer feedback and share actionable insights with management.- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates.6.
