The Senior Area Sales Manager is responsible for all product lines of Sebia in the defined territory/ geographical area in terms of business development and meeting revenue targets.

3 - Missions

  • The position works under the supervision of National Sales Manager /Regional Sales Manager to support business unit goals, objectives, strategies, tactics, and initiatives.
  • Must exhibit the quality of leadership & take the ownership of every activity in the assigned territory.
  • Should work closely with Product and Marketing teams to promote the products and undertake market development activities in the assigned territory
  • Will be responsible for delivering financial objectives consistently.
  • Must be comfortable working as individual contributor as well.
  • Should work in cross functional environments to lead the projects and deliver the desired results.
  • Must possess the track record of effectively managed the competent BP network .
  • Should have qualities and proficiencies to Manage for results.
  • Should understand the complex customer organisations /Key stake holders ;Value chain management of customer organisation.
  • Must Focus on Value selling, relationship management &KOL management in the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM & sales management tools. Role will require extensive traveling at times.
4 - Delegation of responsibility
  • In the event of absence, the Senior Area Manager is replaced by the National Sales Manager/ Regional Sales Manager.
5 - Competencies required for the position
  • Bachelors/Masters degree
  • Prior experience of 7-10 in IVD industry with preference in similar technologies
  • Good Technical & analytical skills as per industry standards.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of territory & geography
  • Relational skills to act as an interface between customer, management, and distributors.
  • Adaptability to different interlocutors and environments.
  • Organization to coordinate its activity and that of the internal and external teams.
  • High pressure resistance to withstand the challenges of the job. Creative mind & strategic thinking with business acumen
