Job Description


Area Sales Manager should have strong communication skills, able to generate the demand for the products, retain the existing customers, bring the new customers through regular visits and follow-up to meet the target. identify the leads, able to convert lead / opportunity to orders . Sustain relationships with customers and manage channel partners to achieve the set goals. Responsibilities will include: Up to date knowledge on the product portfolio and their application for effective sales promotion and sell portfolio chemicals to Academia , research and quality control labs of different industry segments to achieve Sales and collection targets as assigned. Update customer data from time to time in CRM and Keep management was informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis. Develop and grow the commercial relationships of assigned customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase market penetration. Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success. Market feedback on competitors activities such as product offerings, prices, new products, delivery schedules. Manage existing accounts, obtains orders, and develop new accounts by meeting and organizing work schedule to call on , including the distribution channel. Effectively manage the Distribution network by implementing organizational guidelines. Resolve customer complaints through product managers within the timeline to retain the customers. Maintains and update professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Practice Finar by Actylis values and ethical business practices. Required Experience Knowledge - B.Sc. (Chemistry) / M.Sc. (Chemistry) / MBA is an added advantage. - Having minimum 5 - 7 years sales experience in laboratory chemicals /consumables with a strong track record of sales achievement / trade/customer relations to manage the assigned area
