Credit Assessment and Underwriting: Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers (suppliers, distributors, etc.) applying for supply chain finance solutions. This includes:
Analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and bank statements to determine risk profiles.
Conducting thorough due diligence, including business and industry risk analysis.
Approving, rejecting, or modifying credit applications within established limits and policy guidelines.
Policy Implementation and Compliance: Implement and administer credit policies for the supply chain finance division across the assigned area.
Ensure all activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
Review and update credit policies based on market needs and feedback.
Portfolio Management and Monitoring: Manage and monitor the assigned credit portfolio to ensure quality and performance.
Monitor customer loan payments, credit limits, and overall exposure.
Implement "Early Warning" and monitoring mechanisms for the portfolio to identify potential problem loans and propose solutions for delinquent accounts.
Oversee the management of Post Disbursement Documents (PDD) and covenant compliance.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams (sales, relationship management, risk, legal, collections, operations) to facilitate deal closures and ensure seamless processes.
Meet with customers at regular intervals to understand industry dynamics and market conditions.
