Job Description

Job Title: Area Coordinator cum Placement Officer

Reporting To: State Program Manager / Project Head

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:1. Area Coordination & Training Operations:

- Supervise the smooth operation of multiple vocational training centers in the assigned region.
- Monitor student attendance, trainer performance, and ensure timely assessments and certifications.
- Coordinate with mobilizers, trainers, and center managers to meet training delivery standards and targets.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and resolve on-ground operational challenges.

2. Placement Facilitation & Employer Engagement:

- Develop and maintain strong networks with local employers and industry stakeholders.
- Organize campus placement drives, job fairs, and one-on-one interviews for trained candidates.
- Prepare candidates for interviews through mock sessions, grooming, and soft skills support.
- Ensure tracking of placed candidates and provide post-placement support if needed.

3. Reporting & Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of student data, placement outcomes, employer databases, and training progress.
- Prepare periodic reports, success stories, and case studies for internal and donor reporting.
- Assist during audits, evaluations, and field visits by government, donor, or partner organizations.

Skills Required:

- Employer Relationship Management: Ability to identify and engage employers across relevant sectors and sustain long-term partnerships.
- Team Coordination & Leadership: Capable of leading and motivating center teams across multiple locations.
- Target Orientation: Ability to plan and execute strategies to meet placement and training KPIs.
- Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication in English and regional language(s).
- Career Counseling: Aptitude to guide and motivate students toward relevant job opportunities.
- Field Management: Comfortable with regular field travel and hands-on monitoring of center activities.
- Documentation & MIS: Skilled in maintaining detailed records and working on Excel, Google Sheets, and report dashboards.
- Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution: Ability to handle on-ground challenges with professionalism and efficiency.

Educational & Experience Requirements:- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/MSW/BBA preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in skill development, education, placements, or livelihood-based programs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
