About our Team
Our team provides files in the required formats to a wide variety of end-users. These include: production, editorial, marketing, translations, and manufacturing. The files must be delivered in the required formats and on the required media. The Archive Assistant also catalogs incoming assets in the Books Database.
About the Role
The Archive Assistant provides files in the required formats to a wide variety of end-users. These include: production, editorial, marketing, translations, and manufacturing. Responsibilities

  • Understanding of a variety of file formats and their appropriate use for print and web products. Technical Expertise in desktop publishing programs
  • Understanding of book production processes. Also must track and manage multiple requests on a priority basis.

  • Updating archive databases with appropriate information. Familiar with PPM, Book Finder, and Operations Reporting.
  • Understanding of data blending techniques, hygiene checks, implement data quality precautions, use analytics techniques to prepare data for analysis
  • Updating the tracker and delivering reports on time.
  • Helping to define quality requirements and building out acceptance criteria

Requirements
  • Have basic Knowledge of QuickBase.
  • Must have effective email management skills’ – handling the inbox and timely action on customer emails received.
  • Have Basic knowledge of file formats (INDD, PDF, EPS, TIFF, XML, JPEG) used in wide-ranging context
  • have Basic knowledge of two-color and four-color printing and the file requirements for each
  • Have Comfortable working both in a team and have self motivation
