Job Description

Senior application developer who will be responsible for developing the batch layer of TP engine using Java/Spark. The candidate will be
responsible for full Software Development Lifecycle, code reviews, unit test case writing and ensure code developed meets the requirements,
component design/coding/unit testing/debugging. The candidate will apply internal standards for re-use, architecture, and testing, general
best practices and help enhance system capabilities and build robust, scalable systems.
Overall 9+ years of experience in application design, development and coding world class software with 7+ years of experience using
Java/JEE/Spark, RDBMS. Strong technical expertise on below areas:

• Java/JEE/Hadoop/Spark
• RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL
• Spring Boot
• Micro services and Docker Containerization
• CI/CD tools along with DVCS e.g. Git/Jenkins etc.
• Build tools like Maven
• Strong debugging skills
• Test driven development
• Exposure to Data Grid and Compute Grid architecture
• Exposure of Hadoop ecosystem, Spark
• Exposure of container management tools e.g. kubernetes and openshift
• Experience in NoSQL databases like MongoDB will be an added advantage

Key responsibilities are:

• Ownership and responsibility for end-to-end design and development, testing, release of key components
• Ensure process compliance and manage expectations of the leadership
• Actively participate in brainstorming session and provide solid inputs to the team
• Create design document, test, release plans
• Ensure best practices are followed

Qualifications:
First class degree with excellent academic qualifications. B.Tech. in Comp science, IT, or other engineering disciplines from a reputed
institute with relevant work experience Competencies
