:

As a Lead Data Scientist at AI team of Commercial Bank at JPMorgan Chase, you will serve as a seasoned member of AI team who will own & lead a technical initiative in collaboration with Product Owners, Executives, fellow Data Scientists and MLOps engineers. You will be responsible for end to end lifecycle of an AI solution while working under the guidance and regulations of Banking Industry. You are expected to influence product roadmap, develop solutions based on solid theoretical understanding, lead deliveries, manage risks and deploy responsibly.

Job responsibilities

• Understand business case, explore data landscape, evaluate AI opportunity and translate into technical design.
• Conduct literature survey, explore state of art, propose implementations and produce outcome.
• Work with business/product executives to manage expectations, influence product roadmaps and importantly, explain AI behaviors.
• Participate in the architecture, design, development, and quality releases of all model artifacts using Agile methodologies and agile tools.
• Produce high-quality code and conduct code reviews.
• Mentor colleagues.
• Contribute in innovation through POCs, New Ideas, Patents and Publications.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Advanced Degree in field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or Data Science or equivalent discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant and 8 years of Industry experience is required
• Deep expertise in following areas is expected - NLP, Knowledge Graph, Recommender Systems, Inferential Statistics.
• Candidate needs to be conversant with following tools - Python, Torch/Tensorflow, AWS (Or any other cloud ecosystem).
• Candidate must have put models to production with exposure to MLOps process/tools/best practices.
• Experience with scaling models for large consumer bases
• SQL, NoSQL, Graph Query
• Strong leadership, communication skills are highly desired
• Small Team/Project leadership exposure, mentoring

Preferred qualification

• Hands on experience in AWS ML allied tools i.e. Sagemaker, Lambda, API Gateway, EMR, GPU enabled AMIs, Transcribe etc.
• Exposure to Model Quantization, Model Explainabilities, Model Monitoring
• Exposure to Evolving LLM Landscape, chatGPT, AutoGPT, Langchain, Prompt Engineering

Hands on experience in CI/CD, Docker / Containerization, Kubernetes
