Applications are invited for one post of Guest Faculty in the subject of Economics (for Academic Session 2023-24) at PU-ISSER. Hard copy of Applications along with all self attested documents to reach the PU-ISSER office by Feb 16th, 2024 till 3:00 p.m.. The department will not be responsible for any delays or non receipt of application. Eligibility criteria: Essential qualifications: As per UGC and Panjab University guidelines for the appointment of Assistant Professor. 1. Good academic record with at least of 55% marks in M.A.(50 % for SC/ST candidates) 2. UGC NET cleared (in Economics) for Assistant Professorship in the subject for one post in Economics must fulfill the other UGC regulations for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor in University. 3. Desirable qualifications a) Adequate knowledge of computer(Microsoft office) b) Proficiency in Research methodology & Statistics Application will be accepted on plain paper and should include the following details: 1. Honorarium and work details: The above assignment is on lecture basis with a token honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month. The candidate shall have to give undertaking that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend or any financial assistance from any agency/organisation during the period of teaching assignment at PU-ISSER \xef\x82\xb7 Working hours will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. \xef\x82\xb7 Classes/Subjects/Papers to be taught as per requirement. Note: 1. All the applicants are advised to bring their original certificates and other relevant documents for verification along with the duly filed application form at the time of interview. 2. No additional documents will be accepted after the submission of application. 3. Eligibility for the said posts will be determined on the basis of documents received on or before the last date and after verification of the original documents. 4.
