APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF GUEST FACULTY

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Guest Faculty (specialization in Literature and Literary Criticism) for Even Semester, January, 2024 onwards. Essential Qualifications As per UGC & P.U Guidelines, in addition M.A in Sanskrit is must. (i) Besides fulfilling the above qualification the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or must fulfill the other UGC regulations for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in the University/College/Institute. (ii) Good Academic record as defined by concerned University with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in Masters degree level. Selection Process Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview in the office of the Chairperson, Deptt. of Sanskrit, Arts Block-1, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Last Date Applications to be submitted latest by 18th January, 2024 upto 4.00 pm in the office of Deptt. of Sanskrit, Arts Block-1, PU, Chandigarh Affidavit The shortlisted candidate will have to submit an affidavit of Rs. 10/- regarding 1. They are not employed elsewhere. 2. The above assignment is on lecture basis with a token honorarium of Rs.1500/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
