  • Service Design and Onboarding new projects of Manufacturing IT (Participation in Due Diligence, defining roadmap for Service onboarding, Support in development of transition plan, competency development, facilitate takeover of task and go-live support)
  • Implementing regulations and standards for ITM (IT for Manufacturing) based on defined concepts and processes
  • Implementation and continuous support of IT applications for manufacturing, creating central specifications for IT concept
  • Deployment and Configuration of Manufacturing IT (i4.0) applications
  • Application & infrastructure technical support for Manufacturing IT (i4.0) applications
  • Technical Escalation support, Collaboration with onsite /offshore team, Technical documentation, Automation and Training delivery
  • Coordination and Collaboration with plant management/technician, development team, vendors and relevant ITM departments
  • Optimization of IT infrastructure management processes (according to ITIL)
  • IT Application consulting during Mergers, Integration and Carve-out projects
  • Quality delivery of services committed to the customer as per the defined Service Levels and KPI’s
  • Should be able travel to customer location for business needs, Provide On-Call readiness support on need basis


Qualifications
Experience :
8-11 Years Qualification : B.E/B. Tech /M. Tech /MCA Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and client-server architectures
  • Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills, including strong knowledge of how the various components work (kernel, CPU, memory, disk, network)
  • Experience in Containerization & Orchestration (Docker/ Kubernetes/ Rancher)
  • Infrastructure automation and DevOps tools (Ansible/ Terraform/ Puppet / Jenkins/ Argo CD)
  • Scripting to build required automation using ‘PowerShell / Shell / Python / Perl / Bash’
  • ITIL Service Management Framework (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
Added value if you have:
  • Application and Infra Monitoring tools (ICINGA / SPLUNK / New Relic / AppDynamics)
  • Network infrastructure – (VPN, IPsec, Firewall, Load balancing setup and Security implementation)
  • Basic Database Administration (Oracle / MySQL / Mongo / Influx)
  • IT for Manufacturing - I4.0 concepts
  • Working knowledge of various tools and open-source technologies
  • ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation certification
