The Engineer Application Support will be part of the Digital Applications Support Team supporting clients leveraging Accenture's off the shelf and proprietary software applications where applicable across multiple sectors. The Engineer, Application Support will be responsible for ticket troubleshooting, carrying out Impact Analysis' when required, and provides multiple resolutions to tier 2 issues as it relates to problems associated with Application Service and Cloud technologies. What are we looking for? "o Minimum 3 years of application support experience or a technology degree o Minimum 3 years in software engineering or supporting enterprise applications o Experience with CRM applications and complex integrations o Proficiency in MS Tools like Power BI and Power Apps o Strong understanding of Integrated Platforms and analytical skills o Highly articulate individual with technical problem-solving abilities o Exceptional communicator and presenter across all business levels o Proficient in scripting languages Python, PowerShell and basic networking o Previous experience in technical support, troubleshooting, or application support o Strong understanding of SQL - Proficient in various joining queries in SQL; Proficient knowledge of Views, Stored Procedure o Knowledge of Azure Logic App and Function o Understanding on .NET: Familiarity with the .NET framework, including ASP.NET, MVC, APIs (REST, SOAP) and other technologies; Understanding of relational databases, stored procedures, view etc. in SQL Server o Azure Data factory, Data Processing Knowledge o Solid familiarity with ticketing systems like Service Now and Azure DevOps o Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in Computer Science o Knowledge of supply chain processes is desirable for this role o Master's degree in a related field o Certification as an Application.com Admin is advantageous o Certifications in SQL and or Azure o Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall Models o Additional experience in data analytics is advantageous"
Roles and Responsibilities: "o Troubleshoot software production issues, update tickets, and enhance functionality o Provide timely and effective customer support, ensuring issue resolution o Document resolution activities and system configurations accurately o Escalate process change requests for approval. o Support QA/UAT testing of new application releases. o Stay informed about product updates and bug fixes. o Utilize integration capabilities and analytics tools like Power BI. o Develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in applications and business processes o Collaborate with stakeholders on IT issues affecting business operations. o Investigate user queries and liaise with relevant teams. o Escalate risks to development and engineering teams. o Provide weekly updates on production issues and client communications. o Offer technical support for software applications, collaborating with developers to improve performance. o Act as an expert on supported applications, addressing user inquiries and issues. o Analyze root causes of application problems. o Create and update documentation and training materials for end-users. o Take part in software testing and quality assurance, including user acceptance testing. o Aid in new software implementation and post-implementation support."
