What You’ll Be Doing:
Position summary
We are looking for knowledgeable and energetic individuals to join as APM Engineer role in our IT Production Operations team to support Application Performance Monitoring using various tools and techniques like Application Insights, SolarWinds, Splunk, Dotcom-Monitor, etc

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of Azure Application Insights architecture and installation of agents
• Working experience on App-Insights, Kusto query to create various alerts and dashboards for different business cases
• Good knowledge of monitoring Java and .Net application using an APM tool (App-Insights preferred)
• Find and report web applications errors using App-Insights events and Splunk logs.
• Keep all Prod Ops-related documentation updated on Confluence (internal wiki)
• On-board new application under APM monitoring using App-Insights Java agent/.Net SDK.
• Good knowledge of Splunk architecture and maintaining Splunk infrastructure like HF/Indexers/SHC (Splunk cloud knowledge is preferred)
• On-board logs from different sources (Router/Syslog/Application logs/DB logs/Azure Cloud) in Splunk.
• Well-versed with various data normalization techniques and best practices.
• Create knowledge objects in Splunk
• Good knowledge of network monitoring using Solarwinds or any other network monitoring tool.
• Fine tune and automate repeated maintenance and BAU tasks.
• 
  Work on APM monitoring using Application Insights , Dotcom and Splunk
• 
  Will be working on Network monitoring using Solarwinds
• Flexible to work in US shift

Experience

• 3 to 5 years.

Mandatory Skills

• Azure Application Insights and Monitoring tools
• Network Monitoring using any tool (Solarwinds)

Preferred skills

• PowerShell/Python/Shell
• Knowledge of Azure cloud architecture
• Splunk

Mandatory Requirements:
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
