We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Introduction:
As An API Technology Tester a, you will be working on building a cutting edge cloud native, micro service / service mesh based APIs. You will be working in Kanban / agile teams with Automation Engineers, Java Developers and DevOps Engineers with a mix of on and off shore teams.a,
You will be responsible for defining the test strategy for the platform itself including functional, security and performance test strategies and the platforms providing a test framework to be used by the federated API development teams who build the actual apis.
The platform is a mix of service mesh API services, DevOps pipelines, and web based portal applications all of which require test automation fully integrated with the deployment pipelines.

aAEURAa, a, a, Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
aAEURAa, a, a, Responsible for creating and maintaining Live proving scripts certificates and carry forward the Functional & Security conformance for the program as per the Regulatory timelines. The role requires multiple stakeholder management across Run the Bank Business Multiple component teams (RPS ROLB BMB Falcon BDN & API Engineering) and manage the delivery of BAU test support based on the release schedule.
