Role : API Developer Work Experience : 5+ Years Work Location : Hyderabad Key Responsibilities: skilled and experienced .NET / .NET Core Web API Services Developer with a strong background in C# and Azure to join our dynamic team. As an API Services Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust API services that power our applications and services. Responsibilities: API Development: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful API services using .NET / .NET Core and C# to enable seamless communication between different components of our applications and services. Azure Integration: Leverage Azure services and features to build scalable and efficient API solutions, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Database Integration: Collaborate with database administrators and backend developers to integrate APIs with various databases, ensuring proper data handling and security. Security: Implement secure API authentication and authorization mechanisms, protecting sensitive data and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize API performance to handle high loads, reduce latency, and improve response times. Documentation: Create comprehensive API documentation, including usage guidelines and best practices, to facilitate seamless integration for internal and external stakeholders. Testing: Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing of APIs to identify and fix bugs and issues proactively. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share best practices, and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps, to deliver end-to-end solutions. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve production issues related to APIs, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution. Requirements: Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience). Experience: Proven experience in .NET / .NET Core and C# development, with a focus on building and maintaining API services. Azure Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based architecture, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps. RESTful APIs: In-depth understanding of RESTful API design principles, best practices, and standards. Database Skills: Proficiency in working with various databases, such as SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, or MongoDB. Security: Knowledge of API security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and SSL. Version Control: Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, quickly learning and applying new technologies and methodologies.
