Role: API Automation Testing Engineer

Role And Responsiblites
Design, develop, and maintain API automation test scripts using Rest Assured
Perform API testing for Microservices-based architectures
Develop and execute automation frameworks using Java
Collaborate with development teams to understand API requirements and validations
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab / GitHub Actions)
Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with cross-functional teams
Perform regression, functional, and integration testing
Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the SDLC
Work independently and take ownership of testing activities
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
9+ years of overall experience in Software Testing
6+ years of hands-on experience in API Automation using Rest Assured
Strong experience in Microservices API testing
Java programming (mandatory)
Selenium for UI automation (working knowledge)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Self-managing and proactive (self-starter)
